The conventional wisdom is that oil shortages will
create the ultimate energy and consumer crisis in the U.S. However
scientists tell us that in fact the real crisis will be about water. Urban
expansion, factory farms, virtually all forms of industry, and water
pollution in general are creating a water shortage that is even now becoming
a crisis in the Western U.S. The loving thing to do is to not waste water,
and to prevent pollution of the water we do have.
There is a long list of things we can do to stop wasting water as well as
the energy to heat it. By looking carefully at each of the following areas
of our homes and personal lives, we can save a substantial amount of water
every day.
